As founder and principal of Alliances Plus Consulting, Mary Ann Gustafson has more than 20 years of management, marketing, channels and sales experience in the telecommunications, high technology and biotechnology industries from working at Hewlett-Packard Company, Regis McKenna Inc. and as an independent consultant providing services to small to large companies. She is responsible for company vision, strategy, market development, engagement delivery, team management and customer success. She brings years of experience in building high performance, cross-functional teams to create effective strategies and execute award-winning marketing programs to meet strategic and revenue goals. 

Mary Ann specializes in pragmatic, results-driven marketing, with expertise in strategic marketing and alliances, international business, partner development and management, lead generation and sales enablement.  She has delivered more than four years of successful consulting for industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Exodus Communications, Neomar and Sirona.

Gustafson is a graduate of San Jose State University with a B.A. in Public Relations/Minor in Business Marketing and Management. In February of 2000, she completed the University of Southern California Executive Telecommunications Program. In June of 2002, she completed coursework at UC Santa Cruz in biotechnology product marketing, terminology and industry developments. She has also completed additional coursework in high technology management, real estate, finance, programming and product marketing.

A member of Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (A.S.A.P.) and Women in Communications (WIC), Gustafson is on the Board of Directors for the HP Alumni Association (HPAA).  These relationships allow her to quickly assemble experienced teams of professionals to meet your business needs and deliver outstanding results.
